Event Companion App
Lead design on the Event Companion App, a white label app for event organizers to connect with participants before, during, and after the event. Created information architecture, wireframes, user flows, and visual designs for each client app. Worked with marketing to develop a landing page, informational page, and video as sales collateral.
PROBLEM: Event Organizers wanted an app specific to their event where they could inform attendees of event details.
PROCESS: We worked with organizers to identify specific features and information they wanted their attendees to know. We also came up with a before, during, and after event timelines so that the user go the most out of the application. We came up with 9 different pages the event organizer could choose from. This way, the app was customizable for the client, but still manageable for us from a white label perspective. I would then use the client’s style guide to create the visuals for the app. We would internally test and then give it to the client to test. The app was then submitted to both Apple and Google Play to go live.
SOLUTION: We created a customizable app for the client, that was also manageable for us from a white label perspective. We listened to the client and came up with maps of the location or the course, push notifications for the organizer to easily communicate with the attendees, on-site registration, a photo-gallery for users to submit images from the event, and much more. This gave the app relevancy though out the event lifecycle.
